Wooden Science Kit – Build a Working Model Powered by Sun, Magnet or Hand Crank

Wooden Science Kit – Learn How Things Move by Building Them

With this kit, your child builds a wooden model that actually works. Choose from nine designs, from a plane to a satellite. A good project for an afternoon together at the table.

Why choose this wooden science kit?

Kids see firsthand how solar power, magnetism or a hand crank sets something in motion. That tends to stick better than an explanation from a book.

• Working models – the finished build spins, drives or floats.
• Three energy sources – solar, magnetic and hand power each show a different principle.
• Wooden parts – sturdy to work with and nice to hold.
• Hands-on trial and error – kids figure things out, test and adjust.
• Built together – a project parents and kids can share.

Few moments compare with the first propeller starting to spin.

Each design is a separate kit, so you can start with one model and add more later. Building takes some patience and precision but stays manageable. Once finished, the model can be played with or displayed on a shelf.
